How long will it take to get my appraisal?
Appraisal turn-around times vary according to the complexity of the property being appraised. Our typical time frame is around 7 business days for a basic home appraisal.
Do I need to be present?
If the home is currently occupied, we request that someone be at the property to allow us access. It is important to note that each appraisal is an independent, impartial opinion of value based upon the best information available at a specific point in time. Therefore, we will politely decline any review of prior appraisals or estimates of value you may wish to share.
What do you want to know?
There will be a series of questions regarding your home that we will ask before each appraisal. These questions can also be answered online using our home owner questionnaire to speed up the process.
How long will you be in my home?
The appraisal inspection is not time intensive. Many homes can be inspected in less than 30 minutes, while more complex properties may take up to 2 hours. Inspections allow the appraiser to ascertain the condition of your property to determine its current marketability. A typical inspection includes exterior/interior measurements and photographs and a review of any features specific to your home and/or property.
